Pollyannafilms

Cath Murphy is the founding Director of Pollyannafilms.com, an animation house based in Northcote and Taradale in regional Victoria.
In 1998 Cath completed a Grad. Dip. in Animation at VCA Film School/Uni. Melb. At the time, it was one of the top 5 film schools in the world. Cath won Best Graduating Script and Special Achievement in Film for her graduating short 'Like Drowning'. Her professional work has continued to win numerous awards, including social impact awards, and has been picked up by local and international broadcasters, including Canal+, Sogecable and the ABC.
Cath's partner and co-Director, Linda Pengilly, brings to Pollyannafilms an extensive career in performance in film and TV and years of experience in distribution and sales.
In 2009,  Cath started offering incidental learning via diagram-based animation traineeships on Pollyannafilms professional projects to marginalised people locally and overseas.
Pollyannafilms has been fortunate to receive donations from many Philanthropic organisations and private donors interested in supporting our innovative incidental learning model for people marginalised by language obstacles and lack of opportunity.
