What Is PolitiVoice?

In politics, voting is the best way to make sure your voice is heard. Filling a unique, previously unaddressed space, PolitiVoice will be a new type of social media experience, both for those who are politically motivated and those who may have traditionally avoided politics altogether.

We help voters find their voice.

Who Will Use PolitiVoice?

As of the 2020 Presidential Election:
  • the US Population was estimated at 319 million
  • according to FEC filings, there were 257.8 million political contributions made during the 2019-2020 election cycle
  • there were 231.5 million eligible voters in the US
  • there were 168 million registered voters in the US
  • approximately 155 million votes were cast
Anyone who is part of the political process, active voter or not, is a potential user.

How Will PolitVoice Generate Revenue?

Politics is a multibillion dollar per year industry. By tapping into that spending, PolitiVoice makes for a compelling business opportunity. As a new, useful social media experience for users, a platform that is attractive to digital advertisers, and a powerful SaaS tool for paid users, PolitiVoice will help to solve real problems that exist within the political process. By identifying and then capitalizing on potential revenue opportunities that are available, PolitiVoice will generate sizable returns for investors:
  • traditional US advertisers collectively spent $152.2 Billion on digital ads in 2020
  • fundraising for the 2019-2020 Presidential Election Cycle saw total political contributions in excess of $25 Billion
  • the 2020 Presidential Election set a new record with an estimated $14.4 Billion in campaign spending
  • political lobbying in the United States is a $3 Billion per year industry
  • the market share in North America for SaaS platforms was $129.7 Billion in 2020, and is projected to be $156.7 in 2021
As a user-facing social media platform PolitiVoice will generate considerable revenue thru digital advertising from both everyday advertisers and cyclical campaign advertising. In addition to generating ad revenue, PolitiVoice is a powerful SaaS tool with features and services designed specifically for a number of paid user types - politicians (at every level of government), political groups, lobbyists, news media, universities, and pollsters to name a few. PolitiVoice will also facilitate campaign contributions for platform users, generating revenue thru credit card commissions and transaction fees, and additional future revenue may be realized from sponsorship advertising at PolitiVoice events and from educational programs.

It is our firm belief that as user adoption increases, PolitiVoice will be able to tap into each of these spending groups generating significant, sustainable revenues annually.

What's the Point?

According to Pew Research,  “[W]hile social media sites may reach a substantial number of Americans, they also face a credibility challenge. The social media sites with the highest percentage of distrust among all adults are Facebook (59%), Twitter (48%) and Instagram (42%), followed by YouTube (36%).

By 2024 Millenials and Gen Z will be the largest block of voters in the US, the vast majority of whom consume information and get their news through social media. Gen X and, increasingly, Baby Boomers also get the majority of their political news via social media.

Irrespective of a user's political affiliations, PolitiVoice will be a trusted partner in the political process that:
  • removes barriers to participation
  • streamlines the information that is relevant to voters, enabling them to make informed choices at the polls
  • connects politicians more directly to the voters within their districts without the interference experienced on other social media platforms
  • creates the opportunity for users to directly engage on the issues that matter most within their communities
PolitiVoice will keep politicians accountable to their constituents. Candidates and incumbents alike will have detailed profiles with the information that matters most to voters, including:
  • political party, caucus affiliations, and leadership and/or committee assignments
  • official position on key issues
  • updates on relevant political activity
With a feature rich app and website, as Election Day approaches PoltiVoice will bring confidence to voters with the information they need to cast their ballot, including:
  • the official date of Election Day
  • up-to-date information on local or newly enacted election laws that may impact a voter's Election Day experience
  • dates, locations, and times for early voting, and the hours and locations of Election Day polling sites
Politics and government is more than just the months and weeks leading up to Election Day. PolitiVoice will connect voters with each other and their elected officials in ways never experienced before:
  • an appropriate forum where users can post their political opinions
  • the ability to connect with fellow users whether they are neighbors within their voting district, co-workers, or friends and family
  • keep the conversation going with features that drive continuous, year round user engagement

How Do We Get There?

In order to capitalize on the strategic opportunity of the 2022 Midterm Elections on Tuesday 8 November, and to reach early adopters as quickly as possible, we have set an ambitious goal of launching PolitiVoice v1 by mid Q3 2022. Using data gathered and lessons learned from the 2022 Midterms, the PolitiVoice team will begin roadmapping and deploying additional features and services, all of which will lead up to the 2024 Presidential Election Cycle.

As a registered B Corp, PolitiVoice operate in manner consistent with the fiduciary and social requirements that are expected to maintain that status. Seed funding will be expended on a detailed schedule coinciding primarily with start-up expenses, staffing, consultant engagement, and a marketing campaign that will serve to generate broad brand awareness that facilitates rapid and continuous user adoption. Day-to-day operational expenses will be kept as lean as possible, ensuring the resources required for the most impactful features are available at launch, which will serve to further facilitate adoption and the ongoing user engagement necessary to reach and maintain profitability.

Seed Funding

An ambitious launch requires ambitious funding.

In order to meet our operations ramp-up and launch schedule, our goal is to raise the $2 Million in capital required for the first 12 to 15 months of operations thru the 2022 Midterm Elections and the remainder of FY22 thereafter.

NOTE: A second round of seed funding  for 2023 operational expenses may be sought at a later date, to be determined.

Operations are scheduled to commence in Q4 2021 upon receipt of funds totalling $500,000 and/or total funding commitments of $2 Million.
