Built upon a foundation of nearly 200,000 swim lessons taught since launching in 2009, Planet Swim started as a premier swim school in Northeast Florida and now has evolved to a swim and tennis club offering more than just swim lessons. Our execution of the plan and success is unquestionable. However, the current economic circumstances require us to re-structure our capital stack with the goal of expanding the current facilities and our membership in the Northeast Florida market. That said, we are currently seeking $3M in a form of convertible note prior to raising a Series A round.
With 15 years of management experience under our belt, in 2021, Planet Swim opened its state- of-the-art swim and tennis club comprising of an Olympic-size pool, an indoor teaching pool and 7 clay tennis courts. Located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Planet Swim’s training facility is not only unique in terms of physical design, but more importantly in terms of programmatic priorities with the goal of serving the largest possible segment of the community with an efficient programming philosophy for learn-to-swim swim lessons; swimming and tennis enthusiasts; and competitive swimmers and tennis players alike.
The new club structure has taken Planet Swim to new heights and has now evolved to host nearly 1,000 monthly members between swim lessons, swim team and tennis membership.
