Piper Media Inc. and the Piper Lock

 Background 
Richard Gira has been the owner/operator of Piper Media Inc. (https://www.pipermedia.com), for over 20 years with numerous credits for producing, writing, directing, cinematography, videography, acting, narrating, voice over and all aspects of digital production. His car license plate says it all with the mantra -“MEDIAPRO”. Richard has a YouTube channel – PipermediaTO where there are about 120 video examples of his media work. Richard Gira is also the inventor of The Piper Lock and The Wave Power Generating System. Since patenting these inventions in the US and Canada along with a PCT, Mr. Gira has been producing 3D animations of the inventions to visually clarify their operation and potential.

 The Piper Lock is a patented security device designed to replace the common practice of placing a stick in the track of a sliding patio door. While the traditional “stick method” prevents outside access, it also blocks the homeowner from entering, often forcing them to use an alternate entrance to the home. This invention provides a sophisticated solution using an add-on bolt lock system that can be easily installed on the front or back of the sliding door. The system functions by aligning a high strength bolt with a hole drilled into the floor, creating a physical barrier that prevents the door from being opened from the outside by an intruder. The device is equipped with smart features to ensure ease of use and consistent security. It includes an alignment sensor with an LED indicator to signal when the bolt is perfectly positioned. Once aligned, users can activate the lock remotely via a secure key fob or smartphone app, with the LED changing from green to red to confirm it is secured. The Piper Lock is battery operated and includes an audible low power warning. For maintenance batteries can be removed for charging, or the device can be powered via wireless charging and an optional external port. 
A prototype of the device is presently in development.
