OZ is a TopGolf-like eatertainment concept encompassing 75,000 square feet with estimated year-one revenue $13.5 million. It capitalizes on two high-growth trends: Pickleball (America's fastest growing sport) and "Eatertainment" (which was booming before the Pandemic and will come back). We've assembled a world-class founding team, including chef, restaurant operator and award-winning brewery team, to compliment two Harvard MBA educated founders with extensive finance and marketing experience. Inspired by ChickenNPickle (with 5 locations), OZ will create a more interesting environment (much of it outside) with more game offerings, great food, and a top-shelf bar. Target market is 25- 35 year-olds and empty nest baby boomers who appreciate good food and drink -- and an interesting space with things to do while eating and drinking (research says that 70% of customers prefer having options for things to do while dining). A prime location has been identified in Cincinnati, with an owner interested in partnering; but other cities will also be considered.
TopGolf is the model for this venture. It was recently was purchased by Callaway for $2.5 Billion, on $1.1. Billion in revenue. My concept requires less capital, has much broader appeal, more frequency of visits, and leverages s a sport that is exploding, and currently underserved Being first in a market with a prime location -- and outstanding execution -- is essential.
