PHOCIS Tech is a financial technology company modernizing escrow and reserve management for real estate and business transactions. We help lenders, developers, contractors, and family offices coordinate funds, documentation, approvals, and payments through a clearer, more connected process.

Our platform is designed to bring construction draws, retainage, payment reserves, and other transaction-specific accounts into one coordinated workflow. Instead of managing these activities across disconnected emails and spreadsheets, clients gain a structured way to track requirements, review requests, and move transactions forward. PHOCIS serves as a neutral third-party escrow operator, with releases governed by the applicable agreements and authorization requirements.

Our business-to-business model centers on ongoing escrow and reserve administration for organizations managing projects, financing transactions, and recurring payment obligations. By combining technology with transaction operations, we aim to reduce administrative friction, improve visibility, and make complex financial workflows easier to manage.

PHOCIS was founded by Nate Cater, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and entrepreneur with a background in real estate development and financial technology. That experience informs our practical approach: build around the challenges people encounter when coordinating capital, projects, and multiple stakeholders.
