Pawmates: The Dog Meetup App is a mobile app that helps dog owners match and chat with other dog owners near them. It also has a map that shows the top rated vets, groomers, dog walkers, and more all in one easy to use platform. We have 40,000 downloads in multiple countries and have been featured on 50+ news and media channels including CTV, Newsweek, Narcity, BlogTO, and many more
Our business model consists of ad revenue as well as a premium version which will be released shortly. We currently have Trupanion Pet Insurance running ads and are in talks with 3 other companies to run ads as well. With multiple companies running ads, and a conservative estimate of 5% of users converting to our premium version we believe our next fiscal year will be about $50-$60k in revenue. Our costs are incredibly lean (currently only $250/month to run)
Our customers are a highly coveted group of people for advertisers as dog owners are very passionate about their dogs and will happily spend their money on products and services that they value related to their pets
We are searching for 100k in funding to bring on another 50,000 to 70,000 users as well as implementing our tri-fold optimization strategy (App Store Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, Retention Optimization). We believe that both of these will result in a rapid increase in revenue, and thus valuation and rapid return on your investment
