PawHeroz is excited to introduce our innovative Shift Recovery application to the veterinary medicine field. Any licensed Free-lance or resident DVMs, veterinary clinics, Sanctuaries, Shelter, and many other care facilities can post their shifts for licensed DVMs, licensed/registered Veterinary Technicians, and Certified Veterinary Assistants, other certified and registered employees to cover their open shifts. These workers can cover multiple shifts a week, creating their schedule and earning their freedom back to control their hours so they can work around their time. Clinics will see a massive decline in shift cover shortages, an incline in productivity, services provided, worker morale, increased clientele satisfaction, and increased quality of service and timeliness. This application plans to build profits from subscriptions to licensed DVMs, animal care facilities, and vet clinics, which apply quarterly to yearly. The employees will not pay anything to work. Employees can subscribe or make purchases with PawHeroz to other features outside of their employment, which can be paid in the form of a monthly fee (uniforms, expanded features, etc.). There are many opportunities to profit while keeping employment and client satisfaction high, organization high, and fees minimal, fostering a sense of optimism about the financial benefits. 

The company's founder was a service member of the Army with eight years of military experience in safety and security as a corrections specialist. After service, he graduated from Pima Medical Institute's veterinary assistant program in 2020 and held over three years of hands-on experience in various atmospheres within the veterinary medical field. With the knowledge of the real-world veterinary field, medicine, and experiences in different countries and their views of domestic animals, I was fueled by a passion to give these animals the quality of life they deserve. The veterinary is overwhelmed with the growth of pet purchasing and adoption, shelters handling the temporary care of abandoned pets, from the overwhelming human desire to keep pets with little information to their long-term care and maintenance. 

There are many certified Veterinary staff that have kept their degrees, licenses, certifications, and registrations, but retention with many clinics is low and constantly lowering due to staffing issues and high clientele, low morale, workload, little to no flexibility to their schedules, or adaptability to their constant changing lifestyles. However, with the introduction of the Shift Recovery application, we are hopeful and optimistic about the future of veterinary work. This application empowers veterinary staff, offering flexibility and adaptability, allowing them to take control of their schedules and work-life balance more effectively. 

This app aims to bridge the gap in retention by providing the available shifts that the facilities desperately need to continue caring for our pets and ensuring we give them the greatest quality of life possible. With my application, a new door of veterinary employment will improve and organize the way we see our heroes to our family members, our fur babies, our kids with features and scales, our best friends with claws, the ones we see as a part of our family and a big part of our world. Our pets need heroes, too, but they can't do it alone. This application wants to contribute positive information and assistance to our heroes to better assist them in their mission to provide the excellent care they have been training for! This not only inspires but also motivates the veterinary staff to continue their noble mission of providing excellent care to our beloved pets, fostering a stronger connection to the mission.
