Patriot Trucklines is an established flatbed trucking company based in the southeast part of the United States. We are currently operating 40 tractor trailers, specializing in transporting of construction and manufactured based materials. (Steel, lumber, equipment, machinery parts and other various materials)
We currently employ around 50 people. We are in a position of growth. We are seeking an equity partner or investor to help us drive growth for a bigger market presence.
Our Team:
- 40 class A cdl drivers
- Management team: 8 office personnel. (2 dispatchers, 1 salesman, 1 safety officer, 3 clerical personnel and myself as the owner, overseeing all aspects of the operation.
- 2 mechanics and 1 shop manager
Challenges: Not enough trucking capacity to meet our customers total demand. Competition from logistics firms. Our current scale does limit the access to larger manufacturers. Manufacturers would rather deal with customers that can handle large volumes of freight per week or month. You can’t promise something you can’t fulfill.
Solution: Increase in tractor trailer capacity to insure the needs of our customer are fulfilled.
Business Model: Our revenue is based off of rate per mile which is contracted or adjusted 2-4 times per year. (Currently 5.5-6.5 million dollars in annual revenue.)
Competition: Larger trucking companies. Also a lack of understanding that this is more of a niche market in the trucking industry. Different qualifications for drivers to hire.
Traction: Achievements to this point - We have been in business since 2015. We have a solid foundation of policies and procedures in place that will allow for an easier cycle of growth. Ex. If we added 20 more power units we would not have to increase our management staff. Growth will alsobe substantially cheaper.
Funding Ask: We are looking for a $3-3.5 million dollar investment or equity position partner.
Projections: Winning is meeting our customers' needs. Longer term vision is to get the asset base up to 100 tractor trucks and trailers.
