“Good things come to those who wait,” the age-old adage goes, and barbecue proves this right. The cooking method takes patience, ready when the unique cut of meat is ready, and results in extraordinary flavor and texture. Patience BBQ will serve consistently superior barbecue to residents and visitors of Salado, Texas, a historic stagecoach town in Central Texas, on Saturdays. The Company also will sell barbecue supplies every other day of the year and offer regular barbecue classes and tastings.

Patience BBQ will smoke brisket, ribs, turkey, and sausage for takeout and consumption in a 1,500-square-foot beer garden near the center of town. The beer garden will host popular outdoor games. The popular Barrow Brewing Co is nearby, as is Salado Creek, a beloved spot for picnics. In addition to barbecue, Patience BBQ will serve some creative side dishes and have four to six beers on tap, including one from Barrow. The Company will offer online ordering as well.

Patience BBQ’s retail store will sell a wide variety of high-end barbecue supplies from national retailers as well as unique barbecue accessories from local artisans. The Company will sell items through ecommerce as well, as permitted by the vendor.

Patience BBQ will offer barbecue classes as well as tastings. Classes and tastings will center on the Company’s meats, with brisket, ribs, turkey, and sausage offerings. Eventually, Patience BBQ will add a meat market component to its store. Potential items will include products from Green’s Sausage House in Zabcikville, Texas, and 44 Farms in Cameron, Texas. Both make premium, top-rated meats.

Patience BBQ will be owned and operated by Jeremy Schindler, a Texas native with 21 years of experience in management. Jeremy has owned and operated Custom T-Shirt Outfitters since 2006. The company serves a variety of local organizations and spent eight years as the sole merchandiser for the popular syndicated radio and television program The Dan Patrick Show. Jeremy is ready to combine his entrepreneurial drive with his passion for BBQ to open Patience BBQ.

To achieve the Company’s objective, Patience BBQ Supply Co., LLC is seeking $300,000 in investor funding. These funds will be used for equipment purchases, inventory, as well as other startup expenses and asset purchases.
