Greeting!!

We are Kelisa Volson and LaKeisha Green, cofounders of PAL, INC (Passionate About Life).  Our story began when we met in college over 20 years ago at summer orientation at Louisiana Tech University where we both were incoming freshmen for the 2001 Fall Quarter. We were in the same orientation group because we were both majoring in Psychology and ironically would be staying in the same dorm.  We've been close ever since!  Since that time, we've always said we would have our own mental health business together.  That is where the name "PAL" came from as that is what we've always referred to each other as.  We are 100% minority-owned, women's business that is very early in our business venture and needs assistance with funding to acquire a building so we can begin the process of providing Multisystemic Therapy Services (MST)  in our home state of Louisiana. Our business is located in central Louisiana where it will be one of the few services of its kind in the entire state. We are well connected with referral sources in the community including the local judicial system.  We have the support of local medical providers such as nurses, psychiatrists, case managers, licensed clinicians, and other support and administrative staff who will perform intensive care for children ages 12-to 17 and families primarily in their homes for a period of at least 4 months.  

Although we are new to our business endeavors, we are certainly not new to the field of helping people in this realm.  Kelisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in several states and has extensive experience and expertise working with mental health populations of all age ranges and backgrounds while also running her own private practice.  Keisha is a Registered Addiction Counselor and has administration and clinical expertise in addiction helping run multimillion-dollar rehabilitation centers in central Louisiana while also having her own coaching business. With over 30 years of combined experience, we are well equipped to take on the tasks of providing competent and compassionate services to our clients as well as providing a healthy and stable work environment for our staff.
