Yown Health

An app that allows users to store their own consolidated health record, rate their treatments, and view the treatment ratings from other patients

An iOS and Android health app that allows patients to access their health records in Epic, Cerner, Athena Health, Allscripts, and Meditech EHR systems via FHIR.
The user can rate their treatments (medications and procedures) and then view ratings from other patients.  The premise is that modern medicine has blind spots and the addition of realtime efficacy data from users (patients) around the world, will lead to a better standard of care.
Many doctors are now describing the problem where healthcare spend in the USA is much higher than other countries but our outcomes are worse!

This app aims to decentralize healthcare data just like Airbnb decentalized vacation rentals,  Uber decentralized ride-hailing, and YouTube decentralized content creation.
Long term, the app will grow to provide the world's largest online repository of documented cures (and make this available to all).
The user can login an see all the available treatment options for their particular condition, and see how they are rated (even treatments their doctor may not know of).
The app will also act as a match maker between patients and researchers for observational studies or clinical trials (the user will be able to monetize their health record using this feature if they so choose).
Providers can also do paperless patient onboarding providing they are willing to install our app from their vendor's app page (e.g. https://showroom.epic.com/)
Most of the development has already been completed and I am targeting a December 2024 release date in the Apple and Android app stores.
