Overland Shop by Aiden James Customs

Raising 300k or more to create the one stop shop for all of your vehicle based overlanding needs.

We are a highly popular shop in the overland space. The overland industry is vehicle based exploring and camping and is a 16+ billion dollar industry and we want to be the first fully equipped shop related to everything overland. Imagine something like a Bass Pro Shops or REI that is purely dedicated to overland or vehicle based camping and outdoor adventure and named, Overland Shop. There is no single company in the country yet set up fully equipped with a huge retail offering and with a service area for vehicle builds in this space and we want to be the first. We are getting close but need the proper backing to get us from a small family business to completely set up for success as the go-to for everything overland. Check out overlandexpo.com which is the largest scheduled shows across the country each year and imagine all of that and more under one roof.

A little about me; I am a 51 year old who has been building vehicles since the age of 16. At the age of 40 when my son Aiden James was born, I went back to college in the Toyota Technician training program to secure all my certifications and became a Toyota Master Tech. During my time at a Toyota dealership I created a product that became extremely popular amongst Toyota 4Runner owners called Fang Lights. That turned into clients coming to me for work on their vehicles which then turned into me starting Aiden James Customs in 2015, named after my son. Fast forward to today and I have become one of the most known shops in the industry and as the overland space has taken off, I saw a need for a name change, Overland Shop. Aiden James Customs, or AJC will remain the name for the many parts I create for vehicles but Overland Shop is a name that after many events and polls with clients provided a much better understanding of what clients can find within my business.
