At Osmoponic we are dedicated to creating a greener and more sustainable future. We are committed to creating products that not only enhance life for all plants but also, are environmentally friendly. All our designs are made of special blend of ceramics that can last multiple generations..
We take inspiration for watering and irrigation from ancient concepts and develop our techniques based on modern needs and
applications. We develop unique products that meet the needs modern life, from houseplants and small gardens to
agriculture and reforestation projects.
Our Technology:
Osmoponic refers to delivery of water and nutrients through Osmosis. Our technology Utilizes ceramic membrane (developed by us) that like osmosis allows water through its membrane for use by plants. This system creates a direct interaction between the product and plants. Our Planters are made so that they not only create a perfect environment for plants but they also reduce the need of human interference, which can result in mistakes.
With our planters there is no over or under watering because the plants take only what is needed from the reservoir. This results in a perfect localized moister level for the plants. We have several products that we have developed that meet every watering need.

At Osmoponic, part of our mission is to conserve water and natural resources and restoration of lost habitats without further human impact. We are devoted to bring the benefits of plants to everyone, from beginner to enthusiasts through products that empower plants.
Business Model:
Our business model delivers quality products directly to consumers by being both the manufacturer and the distributor. By doing this, we can insure quality control as well as reducing cost for the consumer. Our products will be sold primarily through online marketplaces and social media platforms such as amazon, Facebook and instagram as well as our official website. All sales will be fulfilled through amazon and other fulfillment houses. Using this structure, we can dramatically reduce overhead and allocate the extra funds for R&D and marketing, while resulting in extra savings for the consumers. We have leased "an about to go out of business" but very capable factory in Thailand and trained the personal so we can properly do quality control, and protect our trade secrets.
Our Market:
Plants and the plant care related products is a multi billion dollar industry, and with the fast pace of life the need for "self watering technology" has flourished. A quick search online shows the divers way other companies have tried to enter this niche market. However with the same search you will find, many of these products are neither green nor environmentally friendly. Most only cater to specific or limited types of plants. Osmoponic products are the greenest on the market and serves a much wider variety of applications putting us in a good position to tackle the market. Other than our self watering planters we also have many more variety of products tat paves the way to other markets, such as landscaping, farming and conservation. Unlike our competitors we are not a "one trick pony" but rather offer a divers set of products that puts us on a stronger footing.
Our Team:
Our team consests of two teams, a US based administrative team and a manufacturing team in Thailand. Our US team is currently a three person operation:
Kourosh Hessam, the founder and inventor of the products. Bachelor in Industrial design with emphasis in product design and development and 20 years of experience working with ceramic: two years of hands-on work at a manufacturing facility in Mexico and four years of research with Iran and Dubai municipality for irrigation set up. Kouros has a life long passion for plants and from a family of farmers.
Medisa Payvarpour, our social media guru in charge of social media presence. Years of experience refining her skills in this area, Doctorate in psychology.
Ryan Salandanan, in charge of web development and marketing and all technical aspects of our online presence and work. A computer and IT consultant with 20 years of experience.
Our Thailand team consists of six workers, a floor supervisor and a general manager over seeing all production there. They all have been at that factory for the past 12 years and are an essential part of our company.
Current status:
At the end of 2021 we did a successful crowdfunding through Kickstarter and raised 27k and are currently in production to fulfill those clients orders as well as extra inventory for future sales. Our first shipment will be shipped by end of February 2022 followed by second one in march of 2022. We will be shipping a few pallets each month instead of full containers given the situation with fright shipping.
