I own Optic-Kleer. We are an AutoGlass company and have franchised our business. We did this three years ago and so far have 25 franchisees mainly in the Texas and southern states. We’ve recently changed our recruiting policy and receive around 50 applicants per month. We want to get to the next level and by that recruit a further 230 franchisees over the next 24 months making us the largest franchised AutoGlass company in America. To do so we require investment that would be spent on marketing, recruitment and additional personnel. Currently we own 100% of the business but would be open to offering ownership for help in our growth. Our franchise cost $29,995 which is affordable and our best first year franchisee achieved sales approaching $300k with a 72% profit. I’m open to suggestion and sensible discussion on investment. As a matter of relevant interest. Franchisor companies eventually sell for between 5 to 18 times earnings. The larger the size of the company the higher the multiple. By achieving our objective in 24 months we should be able to comfortably achieve valuation excess of $15m so an opportunity exists for an investor to achieve significant returns in a relatively short period of time.
