The big idea for OnPoint Partners involves a newer market segment known as Big Data. Phase 3 of our plan involves creating a Business Analytics Data Aggregator. This Aggregator, which we intend to call “OnPoint”, will be all encompassing for our clients and will contain every piece of data our clients need to make informed decisions. Aggregators combine many dashboards into one point where everything is available to the user. This data will include, financial reports, sales & marketing data, IT data, logistics and inventory data, industry news, business insights and much more. We intend to outsource the building and maintenance of the Aggregator to MI Group, a tech company in Atlanta that has created many custom dashboards. We anticipate our costs to build will come to roughly $225,000 with another $250,000 investment made for upgrades and fixes over the 5-year forecasting period. We will be seeking outside funding of $250,000 to assist with the development of the Aggregator. We anticipate that Phases 1 & 2 can be financed though OnPoint Partners over 3 years. The diagrams below show projected revenues, expenses, and net cash though the 5-year period. We will be able to pay back the investment with a premium by FY 24.
Once we complete the Aggregator, we will be the only business services company that can provide an all-encompassing customized data repository for business owners. Also, we will be the only Aggregator who can provide relevant services to those same business owners to allow them to focus more on their products and services.
Currently, there are 32,500,000 small businesses in the U.S. Twenty Percent will fail in the first year. Of that 20%, 17% of them fail because of bad business practices. That means that 6,500,000 businesses fail every year. Of that number, approximately 1,105,000 fail, because they could not operate a business successfully.
If we could affect 5% or 55,250 of those failing businesses and keep them in business until their idea takes hold, we have a huge effect on the U.S. economy.
Currently, U.S. Small Business accounts for approximately $5,190,000,000,000 of revenue in the Economy of the United States. Using basic math, the average revenue generated by a small business in the United States is approximately $160,000. That means we would have a potential positive affect of $176.8 billion. is a staggering number. Falling short of these statistics in our minds. These numbers are disrupting numbers in the Big Data industry and beyond. We haven’t even talked about how many innovative or creative ideas will live longer as a result.
We believe these numbers make our case for this growth model in all aspects. This will take some time to create. We’re looking at 3 years from now to be introducing our first live version of the aggregator and 12 to 18 months for a prototype.
Our vision for the future is broad and very positive. We would like to invite you to join us and help disrupt an industry that needs to be more small business friendly. Let’s demystify business. We make business easy!
Vision
We intend to create a business aggregator that will provide all business leaders with an expanded set of metrics that cover every aspect of keeping on top of the numbers. In business, information is power, and we will be providing business leaders with a robust dashboard of metrics in all categories of business management that will enable them to be successful, have their numbers at their fingertips and be one click away from a valuable network of like-minded business leaders. OnPoint Partners believes in empowerment, diversity and transparency for our clients and our employees. This new focus going forward will amplify these values.
Mission
We know that entrepreneurs do not always track their metrics and, in many cases, do not know what metrics are important. Our mission to allow good ideas to thrive by providing a combination of our services and the aggregator so business leaders can work on their business and make informed, strategic and tactical decisions allowing them to thrive. More good ideas will survive instead of withering on the vine because the business ceased to exist.
