Aeolus digital is a web marketing agency helping startups and small and medium businesses get the most out of the online world. We strongly believe that big brands should not be the only ones to count! We can help both B2B and B2C companies.
We have a three-step plan:
- Services to promote brands within Canada and North America
- Services to promote brands overseas
- A program to train small businesses on core skills for them to promote their business locally.
We currently have eight clients (5 B2B and 3 B2C). We would like to build a strong core team (2 to 3 highly skilled employees) to drive growth and outsource to trusted freelancers. Having worked for 12 years in the digital marketing agency space taught me that agility is key.
We are currently offering services that mainly help companies promote their products and services in Canada. Still, our next step is to be able to offer international digital marketing, where I have over 10 years of experience. Canada has many high-quality products and services to offer beyond its borders but few of them actively do so. There is a great opportunity, especially since the trade agreements were signed in the past five years. The offering would include translation, consultancy on setting up an online shop meeting expectations of the target audience and online promotion of services on various platforms such as Baidu, WeChat, Yandex, Yahoo! Japan, Line...
Our third step is to be able to help local businesses promote themselves. We would like to offer them training following the below steps:
- Audit of their current online situation
- Core training
- Add on training depending on the audit results
I can see a lot of small companies hiring freelancers who need directions the business can't give (because they don't know) or money-making agencies who promise the unachievable for a low price resulting in penalties from the search engines and lowering their presence online.
While we have been operating for a year and now reaching a monthly revenue between $20k and $30k, we can see more opportunities, but we would need investment to set up a more comprehensive range of services to offer steps 2 and 3.
