Founded in 2006, NSR of Asheville (also known as Next Step Recovery), has served over 100 men a year since inception. We believe in the transformtive power of community and the importance of embracing life on life's terms. Our community serves as a vital bridge between the structured environment of rehabilitation and the complexities of everyday life. We champion hope, healing, and the pursuit of a meaningful life in a safe sober environment.
Hurricane Helene has proven to be the biggest challenge we have experienced yet. Funding will provide services such as life skills, relapse prevention, counseling, medications, and transportation to 18 men in the early stages of recovery.
