Summary
Smart Compartment for Vehicles is a multipurpose storage compartment for vehicles designed to allow paper retrieval,
digital viewing, or wireless transmission of a driver’s license, insurance card, and other vehicle-related documents during a
stop with law enforcement. Documents, cards, and other information can be stored within or uploaded to a database near a
driver, ensuring the driver can retrieve and transmit the documents in a fast, safe, and secure manner All relevant information
is kept in one, secure location.

Purpose & Benefits
• Provides users with a standard storage system for physical and digital documents related to motor vehicle laws
• Allows for transparency when retrieving paper or digital documents, preventing officers from perceiving danger
• Securely stores and displays comprehensive live vehicle video recording to prevent falsification of accident details
• Facial recognition, audio, motion sensing for monitoring of DUI/DWI offenders to enforce road safety
• Enables and stores parking ticket photos to be transmitted digitally or air dropped to eliminate the need for paper tickets
• Saves extensive time, effort, and money on all production documents associated with owning and operating a vehicle

Problems Solved
Car accidents from drivers under the influence. Loss of life during a traffic stop with law enforcement when drivers have to
produce or display their license, insurance card, vehicle registration, etc. Reaching into a glove box can put the driver and/or
officer in danger if the officer perceives a threat. Plastic wallet holders and loose vehicle documents can be misplaced,
expired and also place the driver’s identity at risk. Digital versions of these items stored in apps on mobile phones may cause
delay, privacy concerns or could become difficult to produce to an officer on the spot if phone is damaged, lost or battery is
not charged.

Detailed Description & Features
Overall, the system allows for the transparency of paper retrieval and digital viewing of vehicle documents, vehicle operators
and passengers. The device also uses finger print recognition, records traffic incidents in real time to maintain a proper record
of each event, vehicle location, traffic conditions and calculates distance from certain cites etc. Users can also upload
documents to the internal database for transmitting at the desired time. The device works to keep both passengers, other
drivers, and law enforcement calm and safe at traffic stops or during an accident.
