Raising $200,000 to run a deli
To create an East Coast Style deli here in the Atlanta area. This area goes from the sub standard chains (Jimmy John’s. Jersey Mike’s, Subway, etc) to the high priced like General Muir or Goldbergs.
I believe that a deli like the ones I owned back in Connecticut would flourish here. Open for breakfast and lunch serving all types of breakfast items from Egg Sandwiches to Egg Platters, Omlettes, French Toast and Pancakes using fresh ingredients and cooked on real grills and ovens to full scale lunches whether it being Deli Sandwiches, Cheesesteaks, Burgers, Dogs, Grilled Chicken or Hot Specials like Sausage and Peppers, Chicken Parmigiana and my wife’s Meatballs. We would also cater to other cuisines like Mexican, Italian and Southern for I have the people in place to carry out these menu’s.
I have previously owned 5 deli’s back in Connecticut (all successful) but when we moved to Atlanta for a job my wife had taken here she made me promise no more owning. It is in my blood so I thought the next best thing would be to find an investor who wanted to own a food business but not to run it and that is where I come in. I would run it like my own. I have 30+ years of experience running my own deli’s. I am great with people and my employees stay with me. I treat them right. I hear all the time from people in my neighborhood and others that I meet that this area needs a good (great) deli. It amazes me how many people go to Publix Grocery stores to buy their sandwiches.
I would be looking for a place that had some seating inside and outside, good parking and of course a good location. I would like to do Monday thru Friday 8-3 and Saturday 8-2. Closed on Sundays.
In today’s world having just one shift to fill, I believe, is the smart way to go. I hope the interest is there.
Looking forward to hearing back from those interested.
Sincerely,
Brian Abel
