I am looking for capital for 2 separate objectives:
1- Software/App Development $100,000 -To develop a commercial insurance application interface using AI to enhance the application process in a conversational format, both as client-facing and agent tool.
The improved and streamlined process/app will be sold to other small, independent agencies as SaaS. The name of the application is Spartacus - Streamlined Commercial Insurance Submissions Platform. This application will be tested by the agency using real-life insurance applications. The concept involves creating an ACORD Form Equivalent File (AEF) that both wholesalers and carriers can either open as a simple Word/Doc file or as an ACORD PDF. ACORD forms are the commercial insurance industry standard forms. They are arcane, and customer-unfriendly, yet continue to be the way commercial insurance applications are submitted. Carriers and wholesalers can easily get used to receiving an electronic equivalent to these PDF’s and save time and money. I believe Spartacus can become the industry standard for commercial insurance applications.
2- Agency Growth $250,000 -We are selling 10% equity in the agency with an exit strategy of 3-5 years for an investment of $250,000.
We are a commercial insurance agency born online, with no footprint; designed to be nimble, with low overhead, and a motivated sales force. We are hiring producers on commission only. However, offering new hires a modest base salary would significantly improve our ability to hire quality candidates looking for the flexibility of working from home, without the traditional agency structure. Our organization is very flat and promotes growth through an uncapped compensation model, which includes the same payout on renewals. We are bringing on 12 producers nationally in the next 12 months.Full projections on revenue are available to interested investors. Twelve (12) producers with average sales of $50,000 in annual premium each would generate $108,000 of monthly revenue for the agency.
We are also putting together a marketing and ad campaign to reach our niche market of small to mid-sized businesses with annual sales ranging from $2,000,000 to $25,000,000. We believe the small business sector is grossly neglected due to the complexities of the commercial insurance markets and the compensation of agents serving small businesses. I believe that there is an opportunity for growth with our breadth of insurance solutions and the compensation structure of our producers.
