Thirty-five years of research knowledge have been instrumental in developing and designing Weiser’s New NoHarm Behavior Modification Scents. The NoHarm Behavior Modification Scents (BMS) offer an eco-friendly, non-toxic, and effective way to modify the behavior patterns of over 26 species of wild animals around commercial buildings and residential structures including trees, landscaping, and gardens year-round.

We are in the final stages of completing major deals with three large companies. One of the companies has sold $1.3 billion over the past 6 years with one of their products online. The other two companies plan on taking our products nationally one in retail and the other in the Professional markets.

The Mission of NoHarm - Protecting People, Pets, Properties and the Planet... Reducing the amount of plastics used in packaging. – NoHarm - The Safest Line of Defense™

NoHarm was founded by Mark J. Weiser in August 2023. Weiser had previously founded successful businesses in the natural animal repellent markets with Nature’s Defense and Shake Away based on Weiser’s proprietary formulas and written patents.  Weiser has studied wild animal behavior for over 35 years and has patented several products for attracting or moving away wild animals with vocalizations and scent communication products.  This research has opened opportunities for Weiser to work with numerous biologists and researchers around the country in an effort to continue developing wild animal communication products that are effective, non-toxic and safe to use around people, pets and for the environment.

With multiple patents written on animal communication products that have been distributed on a national level, the NoHarm BMDS Behavior Modification Disruption Scents, for Training, Cover, and Masking communication scent markers left behind by wild animals (First-of-its-kind) are the most advanced and effective wild animal behavior control products designed to date. Over 35 years of outdoor research has been instrumental in the development and design of NoHarm formulas, products, and systems.

Weiser has been focusing his time and attention working with top businesses and professionals in the pest control industry over the past 10 years, gathering critical data and efficacy for the NoHarm wild animal control systems. Weiser has worked with divisions of Ecolab, Rentokil, Massey Services, Terminix, Orkin and many others.  The results of this research and long-term, real-world testing has shown the BMDS scent control products and system have worked better and outperformed all leading chemicals, poisons, and all other products available and used on the market today.

Weiser also had a one-year real world university study done with the BMDS granular formula. The study was for controlling and moving out rodents (mice) in an old farm house and the results came back at 94.1 percent effective.

Governmental agencies are now making it much more difficult for companies to use toxic rodenticides (SGARs) and others, by passing laws restricting or banning use. Countries in Europe, Providences in Canada and now some USA states such as California, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut have already, or are now moving forward with passing laws restricting or banning use of these products. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is proposing to make the most significant changes to rodenticide use in the last 15 years across the United States. The rodent control industry makes billions of dollars from these toxic poisons as part of their rodent control programs and are now in need of something safe and new. Safer, effective, non-toxic products are what the Public, EPA and these other Governmental agencies are pushing for these companies to use in replacement of the toxic rodenticides, which are the foundation of most rodent control programs globally.

Weiser with the NoHarm BMDS product line, is the only company to have and develop a first-of-its-kind, safe, non-toxic rodent/wild animal control system with over 10 years of real-world testing. Weiser’s product formulas are proven to be the safe alternative for the toxic poisons used today and is a new first-of-its-kind category for the industry.

Company Description

Weiser has developed extensive expertise in wild animal communication over many years of research through the use of all-natural/organic scents that change animal behavior and cause them to move to or from certain locations depending on the product used.  In some instances, product is used to move pests, such as rodents, out of businesses or consumer homes, or to move deer or rabbits out of landscaping and gardens.  Whether repelling animals or attracting them, Weiser only uses his own proprietary formulas to ensure efficacy and that no humans, animals or the environment can be harmed.  The NoHarm products are completely safe and non-toxic for use around the home, children, pets, and for the environment.

Today more than ever, consumers are looking for safe “green” natural, solutions to address their wild animal pest problems.  Weiser has developed a new method or system (Category) in wild animal control.  For over 100 years customers in the pest control industry have had very limited choices, traditional trapping when dealing with a rodent problems and harmful, toxic, chemicals and poisons.  Thus, for decades the industry has been placing poison baits and chemicals in our homes and businesses, luring rodents into the buildings, poisoning them, and then trying to find and remove their dead carcasses.  Weiser is reversing this old and troubled model.  Instead of enticing (attracting) by the use of poison baits and drawing rodents into homes and/or businesses, we drive them out with our all-natural/organic NoHarm BMDS products that do not pose any health risk to people, pets or the environment.  Thus, we eliminate or minimize the use of poisons and chemicals, rodent sightings, rodent feces and urine, dead rodent bodies, and the diseases carried by these unwanted pests. Moreover, by eliminating the use of poisons, we protect people, children, pets, and other wild animals that feed on rodents, such as eagles, hawks, fox, cougars, bobcats, etc., as part of the natural food chain and help keep rodents in check naturally.

Our NoHarm products meet the needs of businesses and consumers by providing a safe, simple and effective ways to quickly drive away rodents and other unwanted pests from the customer’s premises in a safe manner.

NoHarm products can be sold in all primary channels of distribution in the following markets; Amazon, Big Box retailers, commercial pest control, professional landscape, property management groups, brick and mortar retail, online, social media etc.  to name a few.

The competitive advantages in each of these categories are significant. The NoHarm BMDS products are the FIRST and only wild animal control Scents in the industry. A brand new category of products developed.

The United States structural pest control industry generated total service revenue of $11.042 billion, a six percent increase from the $10.421 billion measured in 2021, according to the latest market report, A Strategic Analysis of the U.S. Structural Pest Control Industry from Specialty Consultants.  Total organic revenue growth for the professional pest control industry outpaced the 2022 U.S. GDP figure of 2.1 percent by nearly threefold this past year.  There were an estimated 17,670 pest control firms operating in the U.S. this past year.

Service revenue generated from controlling rodents in residential and commercial establishments increased by more than 13 percent, approaching $1.1 billion in 2022, or nearly ten percent of all revenue earned.

Sales of rodenticides containing SGARs contributed to more than three-quarters of all manufacturer level rodenticide sales this past year.  “Nearly nine of ten respondents have not changed from using SGARs yet,” said Kalik, “but expect they might.”

Second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs)

SGARs are formulated as poisonous baits containing any of the following active ingredients:

  • Brodifacoum
  • Bromadiolone
  • Difethialone
These active ingredients are highly toxic, causing death by internal bleeding. Rodents only need one feeding to get a lethal dose.

SGARs can also pose a serious risk to people, pets and wildlife through direct and secondary poisoning. The risk of secondary poisoning for wildlife by SGARs is higher than first-generation products because the active ingredients stay in animal tissue for a long time after feeding.

Rodenticide poisoning

Direct poisoning

  • Pets, children and wildlife can die or be seriously hurt if they eat poisoned rodent bait
Secondary poisoning

  • Natural predators like hawks and owls can die or suffer long-term effects from eating poisoned rodents

Nearly 12.5 million USA residential customers received a professional pest control service this past year.

Rodenticide Labeling Under Review by EPA WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Editorial from NCPMA President, Marie Horner

As many of you may be aware, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is proposing to make the most significant changes to rodenticides in 15 years. These changes include canceling some products and uses, adding more requirements to the labels of existing products and reclassifying some products to Restricted Use Pesticides. If any or all of these changes are implemented, it could have a major impact for those businesses that apply rodenticides. The rodenticides being reviewed are the Acute Rodenticides (zinc phosphide, bromethalin and cholecalciferol), the Anticoagulant Rodenticides IStGeneration (chlorophacinone, diphacinone, warfarin) and 2ndgeneration (brodifacoum, bromadiolone, difenacoum, and difethialone). Changes under consideration: 1 • Changing classification to RUP for all FGAR, SGAR, Bromethalin, and Cholecalciferol products sold in packages 2 41bs. All Zinc Phosphide products classified RUP. only Certified Applicators may apply restricted use products. IF, the language on the label reads, "Not to be used by uncertified persons working under the supervision ofa certified applicator," then Registered Technicians in NC WOULD NOT be able to apply the products. • Personal Protective Equipment — • APFIO (half-face elastomeric respirators), along with any fit testing, training, and medical evaluations will be required for application of meal baits, tracking powders, grain meals, and waxy/paraffinized or non-paraffinized pellets • The PPE label requirement for gloves for all products would be changed to chemical-resistant gloves, generally with a thickness 2 14 mils (thicker than the current standard) • Mandatory or Advisory statements regarding post-application follow-up — • Mandatory statements for post-application follow-up: 1) carcass search, collection, and disposal, 2) spilled/kick out bait disposal, and 3) dead/dying nontarget animal reporting requirements for RUP products packaged in 2 4 lbs. of bait used in fields and other non-structural use sites • Advisory statements for post-application follow-up: 1) carcass search, collection, and disposal, 2) spilled/kick out bait disposal, and 3) dead/dying nontarget animal reporting requirements for RUP products packaged in 2 4 lbs. of bait used in structural use sites and for products packaged in sizes < 11b. bait labeled for consumer/residential use Application Method Prohibition — • Prohibition of spot and broadcast application to turf, lawns, parks, golf courses, campsites, and other recreational areas • Cancellation of surface applications of FGARs and zinc phosphide on turf, lawns, recreation areas, other public sites The Rodenticide Task Force, which is comprised of a variety of stakeholders in the professional pest management industry, has created a website ResponsibleRodenticides.orq, that provides detailed information on the issue. I encourage you to check out the website and stay abreast of this issue as it unfolds. In addition to how the above changes would affect your business, you will also have to consider storage requirements for RUP's as well as the documentation requirements which are quite extensive. The public comment period ended on Feb. 13, but we willl keep members updated of new developments.

The Global Rodent Control Market is driven by rising concerns about health and economic losses related to damage due to the presence of rodents in residential and commercial areas. The Global Rodent Control Market report provides a holistic evaluation of the market. Worldwide, rats and mice spread over 35 diseases.

Rodents invade 21 million U.S. homes each winter. Rodent control has become a greater source of income for pest control companies.

While the basics of controlling rodents have remained the same for many years, protocols and consumer attitudes about rodents are evolving as the problem continues to grow.

TREND #1 — Rodents Are Increasingly Problematic

TREND #2 — Rodent Control is Year-Round

TREND #3 — Protocols Emphasize Non-Toxic Control Methods NoHarm BMDS non-toxic scents are the solution for what today’s consumer and successful businesses are looking for. Over 10 years of real-world testing and research has proven efficacy and continued superior performance over all existing traditional methods. NoHarm BMDS scents are also safe to use in all situations without concern of harming people, pets, wild animals and causing harm to the environment.

NoHarm is seeking Five Million dollars in funding for the following. Marketing, inventory, production, warehousing, equipment, employees, fulfillment, packaging, website, sales funnels, social media, how to videos and the like.

The first goal would be the USA market and build strong sales B2C through their websites/sales funnels/social media marketing, major retailers such as, Wal-Mart, Costco, Target, Sams Club, Amazon and many other large retailers. Second, expand out to other countries with the same marketing strategies and goals. At this point NoHarm  BMDS products will be the safe long-term replacement for dangerous rodenticide chemicals and poisons and become the global leader and methods used in this new category. Achieving these goals will also greatly help reduce the harm to wild animals globally and with no harm being done to humans or the environment. It would also greatly reduce the amount of rodenticides and poison released into the environment helping the ecosystem to be more balanced and not polluting our water supplies.

Recent studies from South Africa, France, and Germany complicate that picture, presenting evidence that fish and other aquatic organisms may be SGAR vectors and that terrestrial invertebrates, notably the lowly slug, may consume SGARs and pass on the poison to their mammalian and avian predators.

NoHarm – SafeScent Proprietary Formulas

The NoHarm formulas are unlike any other formulas on the market today. Each NoHarm batch has its own unique potency, strength and smell that varies from batch to batch and was designed this way after many years of testing and development. Wild animals can easily adapt to the same smells that are always present such as in most competitors’ products, limiting the success both short and long term. This is one of many reasons why so many repellents and deterrents on the market today do not work as a real solution for wild animal control.

Our proprietary formulas can be enhanced and intensified in production with potency and strengths. The process is unlimited on how many times we can do this. Meaning, each year we can introduce a stronger formula then what was sold the year before. This not only keeps the wild animals off guard never adapting to our formulas so we can achieve the greatest success possible, but it also gives us a Big marketing advantage over all other competitors. Just as Apple introduces a new iPhone model continually, 34 since 2007, we can do the same with our product lines. Each year we can market a stronger formula, for example: HoHarm Pro 2, Pro 3, Pro 4 etc. as each year passes. Our proprietary production system also shows our customers that we are years ahead of all competition. Most other companies develop (one) formula from an EPA Fifra 25b list and keep that formula for the life of the product. There is no innovation or advantage with this approach.
