Golf Express is a food truck idea with a golf simulator — providing Golf, Food, and Drinks in a come-to-your-front-door philosophy. A fold-out complete golf simulator and one-of-a-kind finger food menu, plus beverage options, all in one package, brought to the customer's place of choosing. Finger foods consist of freshly made Won-Tons in multiple styles and flavors with a variety of dipping sauces.
The metro Phoenix, AZ area is a huge golf community for both experienced and new golfers. Internet games continue to populate the world — this brings not only an online gaming experience but a physical and social branding. Most mobile golf simulator businesses in the area are based on events, charging by the hour. Golf Express will charge just like a real golf course — by the player, and either 9 or 18 holes.
Golf Express is based on the hackers (not pros — average Joe's). Golfers who either don't want to spend $150+ on a round of golf during winter rates, or don't want to get heat stroke in the summer when they (like me) aren't very good and just like to play with friends and enjoy having fun.
Golf Express will provide Event and Tournament services, but its main focus is on the average everyday golfer who just plays to socialize with friends and have fun.
The first-year goal is to add an additional truck — keeping growth on an upward scale, but at a realistic goal. Within 5 years, the goal would be to franchise to other cities.
Golf Express is currently just an idea. Development and production are waiting on capital to get this one-of-a-kind idea/opportunity started and flourishing.
About Me
Personally, I have over 25+ years of Retail Management Experience in the automotive arena — building teams and training them to be successful for the company and its employees, managing all inventory and sales, monthly Profit/Loss and steps of improvement, and handling customer issues and complaints. What I call, "Customer Satisfaction."
Recently, I have been a Recruiter for the past 10 years, building teams for a multitude of companies and roles — building confidence and goals for each candidate. I take pride in helping people, and what better way to help them than to have fun at the same time.
I took an internal company charity golf tournament and hosted it — handling all sign-ups, teaming, prizes and giveaways, food and beverages, raffles, and MC'd the entire event from start to finish for 5 years. When I took over the tournament, they averaged about 30 players; by my 3rd year running it, I had maxed out the golf course with 120 players.
I love helping people and definitely love to see them having fun. I'm very experienced in inventory, costs and profit margins, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and helping people have fun and smile. I have spent my entire adult life being a successful and top performer for every company I have worked for.
It's time to be successful for myself and my family, and have something truly to be proud of.
