NATURES ACCESS

My intention is to open an alternative education program. Forest School is an educational model that uses nature and outdoor environments as the primary classroom, combining academic learning, child development, environmental stewardship, and experiential education. Unlike traditional schools where learning takes place primarily indoors, Forest Schools provide children with regular, long-term opportunities to learn through direct engagement with the natural world. At its core, a Forest School is designed to develop the whole child by fostering confidence, resilience, independence, creativity, problem-solving skills, leadership, and a lifelong connection to nature. Students participate in child-led and educator-guided experiences that support academic outcomes while encouraging exploration, inquiry, and healthy risk-taking.
