My name is Earl Sargent. This proposal outlines our plan to become a front-runner in the wildly popular but sparsely populated niche of natural, Cordia Palm/King Palm leaf pre-rolled wraps.
While King palm leaves have been hugely popular in other countries for almost a decade, they have been rapidly gaining popularity within the United States over the past 2-3 years. Currently there is only one company, King Palm, within this space. A few minutes of research will show just how popular the King palm pre-roll is becoming. However, while wildly successful, King Palm’s branding, online user experience and packaging leave a lot to be desired. They’ve had first-mover advantage and have done all of the heavy lifting in terms of getting the product recognized. However, with no competition in that space, they seem to be resting on their laurels.
My proposed company plans to provide meaningful competition within this space. A high quality supplier of King Palm pre-rolls has already been sourced in Uttar Pradesh, India; the region known from producing the highest quality natural leaf wraps. We’ve also started a relationship with Wick and Mortar, the leading branding agency within the cannabis space. With equal if not superior quality product and cutting edge branding. We should be able to become the leading supplier of Natural King palm pre-rolled wraps within the United States.
As previously mentioned, product sourcing has already been handled and the manufacturing company is on standby. We’re looking for an investment of 100,000 USD to have the company brand and image update by one of the best in the business. The breakdown is as follows:
— 80,000 USD for a full branding setup from Wick and Mortar. This includes company name, logo, branding, brand feel, product packaging design and sourcing, website development, product photos, website copywriting, video assets, legal validation and brand strategy. An added benefit of working with Wick and Mortar is that they have a contract with several large dispensaries and shops in the US. The are guaranteed placement on shelves for any brand that they launch.
— 20,000 USD for purchasing customized inventory. This will include wraps of different sizes, a variety of flavored corn husk filters, bamboo tips, branded bamboo packing sticks and a custom branded band for each unit.
The rising value of the cannabis market, rising popularity of the King palm/Cordia natural leaf wraps and low barrier to entry/low US competition in this niche provides a unique opportunity to position ourselves as the front-runners simply by providing consumers with an elevated brand experience for an already blockbuster product.
