National Clean Water Institute (NCWI) is an American water technology company developing a new generation of membrane-free water purification systems designed to deliver exceptionally clean water with improved energy efficiency, reduced maintenance requirements, and scalable performance.
Unlike conventional systems that rely heavily on membranes, consumable filters, and chemical treatment, NCWI is developing a proprietary purification architecture designed for continuous operation, self-cleaning performance, and long-term reliability.
Technology and Progress
Backed by more than a decade of technology development and multiple generations of working prototypes, NCWI has demonstrated promising results in water purification and energy efficiency.
Previous internal testing achieved seawater purification approaching 40 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS). Our latest R&D testing demonstrated a 97.69–97.91% reduction in electrical admittance, indicating a substantial reduction in dissolved ionic content. Preliminary engineering assessments also indicate promising energy efficiency, with further optimization and independent validation underway.
Our technology is being developed to address dissolved contaminants, impurities, and microbiological water-quality challenges, with comprehensive performance validation planned.
Products and Markets
NCWI is developing a modular purification platform for residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, and municipal applications, including water reuse, desalination, data centers, and emergency water infrastructure.
Business Model
Our commercialization strategy combines equipment sales, recurring service and maintenance revenue, distribution partnerships, and potential technology licensing opportunities.
Team and Mission
Led by founder Victor Migalchan, NCWI brings together experienced specialists in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, firmware development, business development, and commercialization.
Our mission is to make advanced water purification more efficient, accessible, and economically sustainable, delivering cleaner water while reducing the long-term costs and environmental impact of water treatment.
