MyTresor operates a gold trading platform that combines all the benefits of the gold ETF, futures and the physical bars market while eliminating all their disadvantages, by offering clients the ability to trade physically allocated gold. Our product targets a Total Addressable Market of $712 B in the United States alone.
Its no secret that the market for gold is tremendous. Especially in the ETF space, where we have seen a 168% growth in the last 8 years or, if you will a $3.5 B trade volume per day.
However there are still issues with that and not everyone wants to touch gold ETFs. They are easy to trade, but the biggest issue is: Clients are not granted custody of their gold & the investment is uninsured
Holding physical gold bars has their own host of issues. For example, dealers cannot avoid charging high commissions due to the supply chain from mint to dealer, it is difficult to trade physical bars, if you do buy and hold physical gold, where are you going to store it? Does it really exist? Is it fully insured? All of these are common issues for investors that I have been following closely over the years.
Solution
We are solving the shortcomings for both ETFs and the physical bars market by offering a fully insured solution that offers direct custody of all gold bars identifiable by existing serial number, offering high liquidity and easy trades, and we are entirely removed from the financial system meaning no counterparty risk.
So finally we are bringing a one stop shop or where investors can come onto our platform, purchase their gold, store it with us, and trade it however they like, algorithmic trading backed by physical gold, the possibilities are up to the client
