I am single woman trying to open a business called Mustang Sally’s Fine Wine & Beer in a newly renovated downtown corner building in Amery, Wisconsin. My goal is to hopefully becoming a destination for tourists, motorcycle and car enthusiasts, as well as unique-bar-seekers, and for the locals, which will help all the other local retail businesses too.
I need help with the renovation labor costs and startup costs.
Amery, Wisconsin is a small town with few restaurants and a few average bars. This area is in need of a better gathering spot for "everyone'. Amery has the Apple River running through it as well as being surrounded by many other lakes that have seasonal cabin owners. Most of these cabin owners come from Minneapolis/St. Paul and are accustomed to some nicer establishments to have a drink or to eat. Mustang Sally's will have two areas: one bigger bar will be in the front of the building with tables and chairs surrounding the bar while a smaller bar in the back will be for overflow and private parties. Next spring, we would like to build a deck in the back - that deck would face the Apple River and capture all the river dwellers, there is no other place in town that would have a back deck. The back of the building would also be seen from the Cattail Trail where ATVers and snowmobilers travel and will be a stop on their travels also.
The uniqueness of the decorations that are being put in the building will be stated in a brochure about the history of the building and Mustang Sally's. There is a great vibe being created that has a cozy lounge area in the back, a small kitchen to serve good bar food, space for food trucks outside and the tasting room and bar in the front of the building. Great music is amust!
I need help with the cost of building renovations, labor and startup costs. The building encountered some major issues with plumbing and bringing things up to code as well as a total gutting and rebuilding inside and out.
I believe in this project and want to see it succeed.
I need help moving this project forward.
Respectfully submitted,
Ms. Sally Ann Klevgard
