Meta Mason is a hands-free AR guidance system for brick and block masons laying straight walls. Using AR-compatible glasses (or a phone-camera proxy today), it overlays a bright green dashed line at the exact top of the next course, cyan drop-in targets that turn solid green when a unit is placed correctly, orange bond lines, and automatic cut sizes from an uploaded blueprint. The goal is simple: eliminate strings and levels on the highest-volume part of masonry work so crews lay faster, with fewer errors, and train apprentices more quickly.
We operate lean. The core product is a working Python/OpenCV prototype already tested with live camera input. A companion app handles blueprint upload and bond math; the glasses (or phone) handle the live overlays and voice prompts. The commercial path is royalty licensing: we provide the IP, prototype, and masonry expertise; a better-funded partner handles AR glasses integration, distribution, sales, and support. We stay focused on the trade problem and product accuracy.
Behind it is Kory Hendricks — a lifelong mason and independent software developer who built the prototype himself. The system comes from years on the wall, not from a lab. That combination — real trade knowledge plus a working AR demo — is the foundation of the company.
