I want to purchase a building to host an Adult Day Center in the morning and an afterschool program in the afternoon. I am a nurse and have been one for several years. I have served in the adult community for most of my career and now work with a small private school in the area. I have found that in both cases there is a severe lack of resources in both communities and believe that creating a space where individuals from both ends of the spectrum can interact, if only for a moment. would be very beneficial and possibly life-changing. I have already secured a space and will start with a summer program for the children in June 2024 add the after-school hours as the new school year begins in August and the adult Program in the months to come.
I am seeking $500,000 to purchase a building and to ensure the building is brought up to code per state requirements for the Adult Day Center.
