SOMERS INN AND RESTAURANT

Thriving Restaurant From the 1700's In a Quaint CT Town in Need of Historic Renovations and Kitchen Updates.

The Somers Inn and Restaurant was established in 1759 and has a very rich history. It was a part of the underground railroad and was also a part of the stage coach route to Boston from Connecticut. Paul Revere and Thomas Jefferson were some of the famous guests and diners. The restaurant and banquet facilities had been open and running until Covid-19. We purchased the property after it closed due to Covid-19.  Renovations on the Inn (which will now be an Air B&B and/or a Bridal Suite) are completed and much of the restaurant/banquet facility updates are completed as well. Our project left to complete is primarily the kitchen. We are looking to open in 03/2024.  The owner has more than 20 years experience in fine dining restaurants and we will be a fine dining steakhouse. 1000's of people are eagerly awaiting our opening with much excitement!!
