Flagship Project — Women’s Physiology Data Model
As a proof of this architecture-first approach, MatriArch designed a FHIR-aligned data model for women’s physiology—addressing one of the most structurally underrepresented areas in healthcare systems today.
Most clinical systems treat women’s health as episodic or siloed (e.g., OB/GYN encounters), rather than as a continuous, longitudinal physiological system. This creates gaps in care, fragmented data, and missed opportunities for early intervention.
Our model redefines this paradigm by:
• Structuring female physiology as a continuous system across the lifespan
• Integrating hormonal, reproductive, metabolic, and behavioral data into a unified framework
• Enabling longitudinal tracking beyond isolated encounters
• Supporting AI-driven insights, predictive care, and personalized interventions
• Aligning with FHIR standards to ensure interoperability across EHRs and platforms
This architecture allows providers, researchers, and digital health platforms to better understand patterns in women’s health, improve outcomes, and design more precise and proactive care models.
