Nobody chooses how to be born. People born with special needs didn't choose to be born developmental disabilities, and as such, they deserve equal dignity, love and respect as every other human.  ‘Somewhere Else’ is an independent inspirational film that combines the gripping suspense of a psychological thriller and the intimate storytelling of a family drama. Targeted at the young adult audience, our movie will shed light on inclusion and equal dignity for people with disabilities, promising to deliver  thought-provoking themes that will captivate viewers and generate buzz. With a targeted marketing campaign and strategic distribution plan, we aim to maximize our film's reach and revenue in a competitive market. Our lean production budget and experienced management team will ensure we'll make the most of every dollar invested in our project.
 

THE FILM PROJECT

Somewhere Else follows the daunting story of a distressed father struggling to raise a mute girl who, in her attempt to escape harassment, becomes a victim of a worse predicament – sexual assault.  Our film explores the themes of Bullying, Equality Dignity, Love and Respect for people with developmental disabilities. With the anamorphic lenses of Alexa cameras and through the eyes of our highly talented cast, we'll immerse viewers into a compelling narrative with intriguing suspense, to ensure a memorable cinematic experience that stays with the audience even after closing credits.

MARKET ANALYSIS

·       Every family has a child, parent or relative born with disabilities. ‘Somewhere Else’ will be relatable to a global audience, especially families raising adolescents. Our market analysis reveals that inspiration films, such as ‘War Room’ and ‘Breakthrough’ have generated significant box office revenues, demonstrating that with this added niche of that relates to people with disabilities, there’s huge potential for both commercial and critical success in the box office.
