Real Estate development in Miami-Dade mixed use project, seeking financing. Long time Italian restaurant has been located on the property. In 2020 when the restaurant faced shutdowns, I took a leap of faith to rezone the property and make the best use of it. Since then I have rezoned the land to mixed use, pending the signature of a covenant to connect to sewer. I purchased the land five years ago after working for the company 29 years, my vision has always been to build the property out, while keeping a piece of the history to include the restaurant as a tenant on the first floor. The current proposed project is 4 stories with 7 commercial store fronts, and 16 units above. However with recent legislation I am planning to revisit the possibility of 7 stories increasing the number of residential units. I have over 20 years business experience and 17 years in real estate, while employed here and prior to purchasing the business and land I earned my MBA as well pre law degree. I am seeking untraditional methods of financing as this will be my first project, although the developers I am working with have completed many.
