    • CBD helps to produce and regulate endocannabinoids, while CBG works on the receptors. Another way to differentiate the two – CGB typically energizes, whilst CBD has a more calming effect. The two balance each other out when taken together. Currently working with https://www.nanohemptechlabs.com/ (2/2022)
    • CBD has a more intensified response with the physical body – relieving issues such as pain and inflammation. In contrast, CBG is more effective in neurological areas. However, each person is different, and testimonials from customers have shown a variation in these results.
    • So far, customers of CBG have reported enhanced focus and relief from symptoms of depression and anxiety. In one study conducted with mice – investigating the use of CBG in Huntington’s disease – CBG showed impressive neuroprotective characteristics, meaning it can protect nerve cells against harm.
    • Studies have suggested CBG’s capacity to help kill bacterial infections, such as MRSA, which can be severe and difficult to treat. At the same time, a study conducted in 2014 investigated colon cancer in rats, and the reaction CBG has on reducing cancerous cells. There have also been links with CBG helping to treat inflammatory bowel disease, glaucoma, and bladder dysfunctions.
    • Professional INFJ, Indigo adults like myself, are very spiritual and intuitive people born with leadership mindsets and usually very wise/mature for their age. I should know! I am one!
      • Indigos are visionaries of change, soldiers for doing the right thing, sensitive souls who want to create a better world for all. Slightly fiery, sensitive to the greater good for all, and above all, believe in fairness, compassion, justice, and balance for every soul on our planet ~ https://lonerwolf.com/indigo-child/

  • Unfortunately, Texas has the fourth-highest drunk driving death rate in the country, and the numbers are based on drunk driving-related deaths per 100,000 residents in the past three years. Texas saw 5,129 drunk driving traffic deaths and 7.76 drunk driving deaths per 100,000 residents during the study period.
    • Healthy drinking choices can also slow the surge in End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD); I've lost three immediate family members to ESRD in less than 5 years
    • Kidneys are vital organs—just like the heart, lungs, and liver; the kidneys help control blood pressure, make red blood cells, and keep bones healthy
      • kidney disease is a silent killer.
    • Chronic kidney disease is an increasingly common but usually preventable condition. More than 37 million Americans have kidney disease and millions more are at risk.
According to the CDC, 9 out of 10 people with early kidney disease don’t know they have it because it usually has no symptoms until the late stages. Simple blood and urine tests can tell how well the kidneys are working.
    • Diabetes and high blood pressure are the two leading causes of kidney disease. Kidney disease can lead to heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and death.
    • Kidney disease can be treated. If it’s caught and treated early, it’s often possible to slow or stop the progress of kidney disease.
    • Besides diabetes and high blood pressure, other common risks for kidney disease include: Having a family history of kidney disease
Being Black, Hispanic, Asian American, or Native American
    • Black Americans are 3.4 times more likely than whites to develop kidney failure, and Hispanics are 1.5 times more likely than non-Hispanics to develop kidney failure.
Costly to patients, employers, and taxpayers
    • There are more than 785,000 people with kidney failure in the United States—an increase of more than 100% since 2000.
    • About 555,000 are on dialysis and nearly 230,000 are living with kidney transplants. Each month, almost 11,000 new cases of kidney failure are diagnosed.
    • In 2018, Medicare spending for ESRD beneficiaries was $49.2 billion—
      • 7.2% of Medicare costs—though ESRD patients make up less than 1% of the total Medicare population.
    • A patient on hemodialysis costs Medicare more than $93,000 per year.
    • For each kidney disease patient who does not reach kidney failure, Medicare saves an estimated $250,000.
    • One-third of people who were diagnosed with kidney failure in 2018 received little or no pre-ESRD care.
      • Lex-Rated Bar-C-Aide can be a leading instrumental change to end this statistic and show the world that vices/ coping mechanisms of stress within our spirits can be tamed/controlled through healthier options through holistic practices.

  • Dr. Tigner-Mouton is a Houston, Texas, Med-Center native seeking to restore vitality to her patients' lives and preserve their overall health. • I am currently building my mobile application (Apple and Google Store-based) as well as attending a weekly in-person state licensing course at the University of Houston.  The Texas-based benefit corporation franchise is much like a B-Corp; for-profit entities that specifically carve out a social impact in communities. The program I'm currently enrolled in is a 160-hour Community Health Workers Certification at The University of Houston based on the eight-core competencies that the Texas Department of State Health Services has recognized as part of the requirements for Community Health Workers (CHWs). I am also currently conducting my teaching internship in collaboration with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. The course used for this internship is an EDF 7260 Assessment and Evaluation in Health Professional Education. I participate in course revisions under my mentor, Dr. McCraney, the primary professor for the course.

  • Various healing traditions have been around for thousands of years. The benefits of combining the external, physical, and technological treatment successes with the internal, nonphysical exploration of healing are now receiving much attention today due to the changing health care climate. There is a growing need for an "alternative" health care system.
