Congolese Integration Network — Welcoming & Healing Center and Amani House: Housing Stability and Youth AI Pathways in King County

The Congolese Integration Network (CIN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 in SeaTac, Washington, led by and serving Congolese and other African refugee and immigrant families. CIN has served more than 8,000 people across King County. In 2022 the Washington State Senate honored CIN with two resolutions recognizing this work. CIN owns and operates the Welcoming & Healing Center in Des Moines — a former hotel acquired and converted to provide transitional housing, healing services, and a community hub for newly arrived families — and Amani House, CIN's housing program for vulnerable families. Our work moves families out of poverty and prevents homelessness through housing stability, case management, workforce readiness, and benefits navigation, while our youth programs empower children and young people with digital learning, coding, and AI-to-career pathways, including a NASA-supported STEM program.
