I am  Luke Knudson, owner of  LK Preservation LLC. I am currently based out of  Asheville, NC and  have been operating for over  five years with most of  my prior experience being in  Wyoming. I purchase and rehabilitate historic homes in desirable areas to establish as high end vacation rentals. I find neglected properties in areas with high tourism levels, restore the properties to high end quality and aesthetic standards and set them up as curated vacation rentals. It is important to me to revitalize properties in areas that are experiencing growth trends to better capitalize on equity returns and to be able to improve growing communities. 

I have outlined my next project and am excited about both the short and long term returns the property offers. I am in the process of purchasing it and am looking for additional capital to scale this project.

I have successfully completed two projects so far and am looking to scale my business further. My first project was a 1915 single family bungalow that I purchased for 170,000, spent 80,000  restoring, and now is worth 450,000. I restored this property inside and out and furnished it with unique decor and features and have gained a significant positive response with recent marketing efforts. The home is going to be featured in a couple of historic home restoration publications in 2025. I launched the home as a vacation rental in October of 2024. I also purchased and sold another home earlier this year after conducting repairs, nearly doubling my investment. 

I also owned and operated a brick and mortar retail antique store for nearly nine years in Sheridan, WY and found it to be quite rewarding and successful.
