LifeTwiceCPR is a new homebased minority veteran owned business based in Albany, Georgia, that provides American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) instructor courses. The aim is to provide high-quality training that is convenient and accessible to entrepreneur’s who are looking to start a CPR business and industries wanting to stop outsourcing their CPR requirements. The "Done for You" courses come with all the manikins, AEDs, first aid kits, and tools needed for instructors to start teaching immediately. The company offers AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA Heartsaver HS Instructor courses without the supplies and equipment to anyone wanting to become an AHA CPR instructor. This target audience is healthcare providers, first responders, educators, nurses, pharmacists, daycare personnel and others. Currently, all courses are conducted by the owner, who is a Faculty CPR instructor under the Southern Regional Technical College Training Center (SRTC). They are held onsite for businesses and in hotel event rooms throughout the country.
The purpose here is to obtain $100,000 in funding. The capital will allow the company to hire a Human Resource Management (HRM), followed with the hiring of a team that will consist of an administrative assistant, a marketing team, a planning team, an accountant, and legal representation. Once the teams are operational, LifeTwiceCPR will implement strategies and tactics to become an AHA Training Site under its' current AHA Training Center. This will give LifeTwiceCPR the ability to appointment its' own AHA CPR Faculty Instructors, thus exponentially growing the number and type of courses conducted. This shift will allow the company to set plans in motion to grow from one Faculty Instructor to many. Only AHA Faculty Instructors can teach AHA instructor courses. Approximately three years after becoming a Training Site, LifeTwiceCPR will reach the number of students trained per year to meet AHA Training Center status, the primary goal. The owner currently has the knowledge and skills to effectively operate an AHA Training Site but, lack the funding needed to put in place a team dedicated to LifeTwiceCPR’s mission, growth, and sustainability.
LifeTwiceCPR’s owner Eric Roney, has been an AHA Faculty Instructor with SRTC Training Center since 2018. Mr. Roney is a Retired USAF Fire Superintendent. After 21 years of service, he was employed as a Public Safety Supervisor (police and fire) for his hometown Albany, GA for 11 years. He accepted the Chair Fire Protection Technology position for Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC), which he served for 3 years before COVID-19. Mr. Roney has been teaching for over 30 years and exclusively CPR courses since 2018. Furthermore, he will invest in personal education to includes getting a working knowledge of each team’s skill set, joining business focus community Traffic Sales and Profit (TSP) Mastermind, and attending various workshops and seminars.
Our PricesLifeTwiceCPR has standard "Done for You" CPR Instructor packages from $4500 for a single instructor teaching 6-9 students, to $16,500 packages for small businesses with 100 or more employees. Packages cand also be custom to the individual or company desire.
The company also offers CPR Instructor courses for $500 without the equipment and supplies.
