The missing middle has been a phenomenon since it's disappearance in the 1940's. The nation is currently experiencing a massive attainable housing shortage. People all over the country are being priced out of the housing market and this begs to question where do these people live? Hundreds of thousands of people are flocking to the tiny house movement as a method and means to reclaim their own personal finances and freedom.
There is a currently an estimated 50,000 - 80,000 people currently living in tiny houses, illegally. By creating a template community we can expand to a national level, wherever there is a need and demand for simple and sustainable living. Hundreds of thousands of people are flocking to alternative housing shows, expos and events to explore options that work best for them and their lives.
I am to a point where I am working in parallel on the hunt for the property (of which I have identified a couple of options) and the capital needed to pull this all together. There is currently a list of 60 individuals who are willing to be founding residents in the Denver based community. Plus, there tens, if not hundreds, of thousands more out there already living the lifestyle or ready to make the change to tiny living.
Let's work together to help bring tiny, home.
