Liberty Armory is a family-friendly, safety-first firearms and archery destination in Northwest Arkansas built to deliver the complete shooting-sports experience—welcoming to new shooters, reliable for experienced members, and professionally operated under documented SOPs and controlled access standards.
What we will offer
Liberty Armory combines multiple complementary offerings under one roof so customers can learn, practice, and build confidence in a safe environment:
- Archery experiences (indoor + outdoor programming, including 3D and bag targets with extended-distance capability) designed for both beginners and seasoned archers.
- Firearms experiences focused on safe fundamentals, structured practice, and an approachable pathway for first-time shooters.
- Ready Ranges modular live-fire systems to create consistent, controlled, turnkey lanes that can scale in capacity as demand grows. These units include an armored ballistic envelope, acoustic treatment, bullet traps with dust/lead collection, and full HVAC/ventilation—supporting a modern, safety-driven range environment.
- Firearms rentals to reduce barriers for new shooters and visiting customers who want to learn before they buy.
- Retail firearms and accessories curated to support training, safe ownership, and repeat customer needs (ammo, optics, parts, archery accessories, etc.).
- Instructor-led training and scenario-based programs, including MILO decision training and other structured instruction, delivered within clearly defined safety controls.
- Live Scan fingerprinting and mobile/on-site safety services (training, assessments, tabletop exercises, and written safety plan support) as complementary service lines aligned with our safety mission.
Business model and customers
Our business model blends:
- Recurring revenue (memberships and repeat-use customers)
- Usage-based revenue (lane time, rentals, training sessions)
- Retail and accessory sales (firearms, archery gear, consumables)
- Service revenue (Live Scan and mobile/on-site safety engagements)
We serve a broad customer base including families and first-time shooters, archers and hunters preparing for seasons, experienced enthusiasts seeking consistent practice access, and organizations that value structured safety planning and training.
How we operate
Liberty Armory is designed to operate like a professional safety program—not a casual range. We are building the business around version-controlled SOPs, required checklists and logs, incident/near-miss reporting, and a clear safety culture led from the top. The goal is a facility that is clean, consistent, welcoming, and safe enough that new shooters can confidently take their first steps.
Team
Liberty Armory is led by Joe Hatfield (Managing Partner / Operations Lead) and Zac Turnbull (Co-Owner / Training & Safety Lead). Together, the team brings deep experience in facility development and operations, high-accountability environments, and training standards—with a focus on disciplined execution, customer experience, and uncompromising safety.
