Level Up Premium Foods was founded by experts in US Consumable Sales, Item Innovation, Commercialization and Category Insights, with a combined 50 years of Big CPG experience. We are a team of 7, with 3 co-founders in place. In 2020, we saw an opportunity in the Meat Category. Scarce supply drove consumers to higher end and healthier assortment. Covid taught the consumer how to cook and prepare at home. Now they are seeking better quality and source transparency, shopping beyond the oversaturated Private Label meat assortment. We developed a solution to bring them back into the stores.
We commercialized, and validated 2 brands within the US Meat Category, focused on Quality, Health, Source Transparency & Sustainability. Our brands represent new excitement in the trending Wagyu Beef and Organic Grassfed segments, where they have actualized success in Southeast Retail and Amazon within an oversaturated Private Label category.
We have strong business connections amongst commercial ranches in Argentina and Uruguay. This region is known for their expertise in cattle ranching. Both from strict standards on the health of the cattle, the environment and delivering top quality. Comp testing quality and pricing, to ensure we deliver the best at competitive price points, we were confident in succeeding in a very brand limited space. We are now partnering with a provider in Urugay, sourcing the best of the best to deliver into the US.
Marble 57 Wagyu Beef is now sold South Florida retail and testing in the Noth East at an Ahold grocery chain. Since the 2021 launch, our comp sales are +57%, and we are looking to expand at a rapid pace. We deliver best-in-class packaging, we a skin-board technology, showcasing the cut of steak and the high levels of marbling, and calling out critical health attributes, such as Iron, Protein and Monounsaturated Fatty Acids. We also showcase the region and source of our product, to further educate and drive confidence behind the decision to purchase. The brand is trademarked as well as "Marble Matters".
Primal 35 Organic Grassfed Beef is having strong success on Amazon and will soon be packaged in the same skin-board design as Marble 57, calling out healthy attributes and the importance of product source and health. We will expand this brand into retail, in Q1 2024. The brand is trademarked as well as "Grass Matters".

This is our first round of investment, which is primarily backing inventory purchases and packaging to allow us to confidently expand into grocery.
