First original sports bar/restaurant in our area ever. Low overhead menu with full bar with games and entertainment and amazing staff of no more than 20 employees. The establishment has been in existence for over ten years. I worked there as the head bartender and assistant manager for 3-1/2 years (2015-18) It is a turn-key establishment. Only needs minor maintenance and the cost-efficient facelift I would like to give it for its rebranding. The original name was Smitty's Sports Bar n Grille. We formed an LLC as Jack Trade Services LLC. Our DBA name will be Legendz All Star Sports Bar; We went through Legal Zoom, so we also have procured their services for compliances and taxes; Established a business bank account with a beginning balance of $10k. Procured our Point Of Sale (POS) through top rated Touch Bistro. The building is a warehouse style with 9 televisions which we procured a business account with DirecTV that includes NFL Sunday Ticket (NOT offered at any other establishment in this area) and we intend to do PPV MMA events as well; Fully functional bar and kitchen; Approximately 50,000 sq. ft. We will be the first and only true sports bar in this area; 2 different lengths of pool tables so we can enter all leagues; 3 online interactive electronic dart machines so we can enter teams in that league as well; Random tournaments for both; We have an outdoor patio; A Best Western Hotel right beside us; A Rutter's Truck Stop directly adjacent to us; Right off of Highway 322, a major connecting corridor between Harrisburg and State College Pennsylvania; We intend to start off with a simple menu fitting for a sports bar, including gourmet hamburgers and hot dogs, along with fries and several other deep fried foods and appetizers. Due to recent rising costs and inflation, we decided it would be best to keep our menu fairly simple for a lower overhead. Our bartenders will be efficient and knowledgeable along with our servers. We will offer a wide variety of cocktails along with products from a local winery (that I used to work for), and craft beers. We can be open and making money within 30 days from the day we would receive the funding. I have everything mapped out. I am sure we will run into other issues along the way but my familiarity with the establishment will help us get through them. Our theme will be literally legends. Not just sports legends, but legends of all types. We will have memorabilia hanging from above along with on the walls including but not limited to Fat Heads. Business hours will be M-Thurs 3pm-2am, Fri-Sun 11am-2am. Main kitchen will close at 10pm. From that point on, anyone under the age of 21 will be asked to leave. That is when we will be turning up the music and turning down the lights and we are more bar than anything. We have a designated driver to help prevent patrons from creating a negative legal issue by leaving there after drinking and causing an accident. I have an exceptional reputation in this area from my prior years of working there. Our POS system will even allow us to place QR codes in the hotel rooms and the truck stop for an online interactive menu. I have been working on this project preparing everything, including setting up all accounts and scheduling appointments for over 4 months now. The owner is beginning to grow impatient due to the fact that a business partner we had, who was our major financial contributor, decided to back out because he was offered a better position at his current employment. Obviously, this was very poor timing. So, now we are on the clock so to speak.
