Legends In Time is a small clothing brand influenced by urban 90s hip-hop fashion culture.
The Story Legends In Time started in 2014 as merch table items for my concert series: The L.I.T. Experience. I wanted to capture the culture of my merch in a fashionable sort of way. I wanted to have merch that people would ACTUALLY wear outside of my concert to have them remember me as an individual, artist, and performer. Also, as a piece of clothing to potentially get free entrance to future shows. Legends In Time isn't just a clothing brand in my eyes, but a movement! Each piece clothing is my footprint in time. It's my brand, my legacy, and my grind that each consumer takes with them when they walk out with a piece of this clothing. Every time they wear that hat, shirt, hoodie, or jacket they will remember the experience they had at a show, or in a store, and they'll remember the passion, integrity, and sweat equity I've invested into standing out within a infinitely growing culture!
The ProblemThe value in our brand; in the sought after location is the problem in the market. There is a void in unique clothing brands within a 7 mile radius that carter to an urban demographic. Legends In Time is the fill for that void! Black people represent nearly 50% of the population in University City. Yet the shopping experience for this community is beyond scarce! Legends In Time has the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between an evolving and growing culture in our immediate surrounding, and the shopping desires of that growing community.
The Solution Understanding that the competition in the fashion industry is stiff, there is an intimate understanding Legends In Time has of the industry. Capitalizing on a culture where "exclusivity" is key, I've found a balance between the creative edge and the business of building a culture driven brand, both of which are very important.
Currently Legends In Time operates out of an online store only
https://www.lgndstore.com. However, with the funding acquired from investors we will open our first physical location at 6513 Delmar Blvd. This location is key in our target market because of the demographic in the surrounding area. As well as the lack in shopping desires for urban street wear brand:
