Legacy Learning

I have over 30 years experience in the childcare industry in all aspects of the business. Legacy Learning has been open since September 2019. We have 85 children enrolled in our program with over 300 children on our waitlist. While the need for full time childcare in Conway is substantial, centers are opening that do not meet the needs of the working parent, which are continuing the gap between quality childcare and parents needs. I’d like to bridge that gap by offering hours from 5:30 pm -10:30 pm Monday-Friday and on Saturdays. Being located close to Conway Regional and Baptist Hospital, this allows for the long work hours of hospital personnel. We are also located next to the UCA campus which allows for staff from the college, many being education and therapy majors. We will also offer drop off care for parents that need a few hours in the evening for any reason. Conway is made up of many families that do not have extended family in town to help when emergencies arise or when some extra help is needed. To support and strengthen the family unit, we will offer “tasks”. We will be able to clean the house, walk the family pet, pick up groceries, grab medicine or dry cleaning, pick up dinner or anything else that can help take something off their to-do list. All this done by the people they trust with their little ones and the added bonus of background checks. It is my goal to be a truly inclusive extension of the home. This is a truly new model that hasn’t been done in Conway, Arkansas or even the United States.
