1. Introduction - What your company is and what it does?
Legace Enterprises and Consulting LLC (LECL) is established in the state of Maryland. LECL's focus is to support countries in developing regions of the world to develop business across five sectors of to include Logistics, Agriculture, Affordable Housing, Electirfication and Education. 
 
2. Your Team - Who is on your team?
  • Jerome Robinson: Chief Executive Officer 
    • Mr. Robinson is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army. While in the U.S. Army, he was a Foreign Language Intelligence Analyst. Following his military service, he went to work as a consultant for a Fortune 500 Company. He resigned from the Fortune 500 Company as a Senior Executive.
  • Ibrahima Toure Chief Operations Officer
    • Mr. Toure  has close relationships with decision makers within the government and within the commercial market. Following his education, he went to work in logistics and transportation company as a Project Manager. He currently works as a Sales Manager in the automobile industry.
  • Joseph Pierre Chief Technology Officer
    • Mr. Pierre has a background of Marketing and Promoting with an understanding of IT in all aspects and it's importance to society.  His primary areas of technical understanding is in STLC, SDLC and Network Management.
3. Problem - What problem is there and how big is the market?
The government of the Republic of Guinea (Guinea) desires to alter the current scenario of companies monopolizing the entirety of the bauxite mining process. Companies in the region control work in the mines as well as transporting minerals from the mining sites to the shipping ports. Additionally, the current bauxite hauling companies fail to practice safety and preventative maintenance procedures. Their failure to follow such procedures results in frequent accidents, injuries and vehicle breakdowns.

The bauxite industry witnessed considerable growth in 2022 mainly due to increased production from China, Guinea, and Australia. According to GlobalData, the Republic of Guinea is the world’s second-largest producer of bauxite in 2022, with output up by 4% on 2021. Over the five years to 2021, production from the Republic of Guinea increased by a CAGR of 14% and is expected to rise by a CAGR of 3% between 2022 and 2026.

4. Solution - How do you uniquely solve that problem?
The government of Guinea desires U.S. based companies as an alternative to the current suite of countries operating in Guinea. LECL is positioned to deliver a combined set of unique personal skills, experiences and relationships to address the aforementioned problems. These skills, experiences and relationships include:
  • over 20 years of military experience with in-depth experience transporting cargo, safety precautions, and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Process Improvement
  • Project Management 
  • professional truck driving experience with an understanding of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection 
  • existing relationships with key leaders and decision makers
5. Business Model - How do you make money?
LECL will be directly contracted by the government of Guinea to transport bauxite from the mineral deposit sites to the Port of Boffa, Guinea. The direct contract requires 15 mining dump trucks each with a capacity of 50 metric tonnes. Each truck will make 3 trips/runs per day. The 20 trucks will operate 28 days per month. LECL gets remunerated a flat rate for each run. The government of Guinea will invoice every 90 days.

7. Your Vision - How will your company own the market?
LECL's vision is to begin with a fleet of 20 trucks, and to have 30 trucks in Guinea by the end of 2025. Within 5 years, we aim to be the primary bauxite trucking company in Guinea. We'll accomplish this vision by: 
  • implementing an efficient and effective trucking operation
  • scrutinizing and improving processes where needed
  • enforcing safety protocols to be followed by each driver 
  • demonstrating sincere respect, dignity for local customs
  • providing employment opportunities for local citizens
  • leveraging our relationships within the government   

8. Traction - What have you already achieved?
LECL has garnered a relationship with key stakeholders within the government of Guinea. We have a sponsor within the government of Guinea, who is familiar with the current problems ahd challenges. LECL has analyzed what is required to operate a successful logistics trucking company in Guinea, and has put together an operational plan to include:
drivers, managers, supervisors, office administration staff, location, necessary technology, maintenance schedule for the trucks, annual operational cost, and cost of trucks. 

9. Funding Ask - How much do you need to achieve your vision?
LECL is requesting $3,000,000 to purchase the dump trucks and to fund the first year of operations.

10. Projections - What does winning look like if it all works out?
Winning for LECL looks like developing into the primary bauxite transport company in the Boffa and Boke region of Guinea through brand recognition. LECL's vision is to evolve in a ubiquitous company on the west coast of Africa.

LECL's goal is to expand our fleet of trucks, but also pursue business opportunities in other sectors.
