Kumari of the Woods

Kumari of the Woods is a restorative forest bathing retreat tucked away in an off the beaten path of the Upper Valley of Vermont. Our state's main industry is tourism year-round and our two newly opened stone and wood cottages allow guests to unplug from the world (still with high speed internet) and find silence and peace within our forest trails. We opened our two lovely, aesthetically beautiful cottages, in January 2026 and are on a path to design and build four more short term rental spaces and an event space with offices for wellness practitioners. This experience embraces silence and wellness within its landscape of 52 acres. Included will be stone meditation spots and a sauna, outdoor kitchen and other amenities to support the retreat experience. Each rental space can be  for a couple or an extended large family or company retreat experience.
