Staci BUYS CANS! is a Can and Bottle redemption center that is a WIN-WIN! Customers are keeping beverage containers out of our landfill and also helping our local humane society because I donate a portion of the proceeds to help our 4 legged friends in need.
I started a community service recycling initiative with the goal of keeping IA cans, plastic, and glass bottles out of our landfill, which I entitled "Keep it out of the Landfill Project". I placed trailers that I made into recycling drop-off containers in several parking lots in my community to give people the option to recycle versus throw away.
This past November there was a fire in my commercial building from a wood burner that took everything. I could only get actual cash value insurance and that won't even cover half of what it will cost to fix what's been damaged. I need to find a new location and need some help with the funding. I'm raising $300,000.
