Johns Agency LLC - Seeking an investor

The Johns Agency began on August 28th, 2019. We represent a respected financial services and  insurance agency – contracted by a major insurance carrier on March 1st, 2021. 

The Johns Agency was started as an investment project, to be able to provide retirement income for the  Johns family. Being in the financial services industry for many years, we realized that the most lucrative way to  get a return on investment is to invest in ourselves with the knowledge and experiences we have helped  many to achieve. So, we took our retirement money and hence invested in a successful franchise,  ‘entrepreneurial agency’ program started by a franchise carrier. To date, we have invested  $752k in this business and coming to the end of the second year, we realize that we would need to take  on an investor(s) to help us to get the business to a financially successful place. 

We have encountered many learning curbs in this business lesson and have turned it into success  building blocks. We have secured a solid book of business that is generating annual revenues. 

The objective or first part of the Johns Agency is to reach a minimum monthly premium of $383,720.00  of property and casualty insurance policies, referred to as ‘P & C’. We intend to turn the Johns Agency  into a 10 million dollar monthly premium agency at the end of five years.  

To accomplish the above premium amount means that the Johns Agency will need to close 181  insurance P&C bundled policy’s (which means combined Home & Auto policies referred to as ‘bundled’)  monthly, that total premium amount cited ($383,720.00) will pay $139,098.50 monthly actual revenue  to the Johns Agency. The second part of our agency’s goal is to generate revenue in life insurance  products, annuities, and investments. The minimum income from life insurance we project is 43 life  policies per month which equals $1500.00 per policy equals (43 X $1500) or $64,500.00 times 60%  equals $38,700.00 in commissions. The third part of our agency’s goal to generate revenue is to sell 25  monthly memberships, 5 credit cards, 2 travel packages and refer 2 mortgage cases monthly. The  income from these products is $1500.00 monthly.  

The totals from (1 + 2 + 3) monthly revenue goals cited above totals ($139,098.50 + $38,700.00 + $1500)  = $179,298.50 X (12 months) equals $2,151,582.00 per year.  

The platform we are using to accomplish this goal is through new business by way of purchasing new  leads daily to meet our goal. In order to achieve the above monthly revenue goals, the Johns Agency  needs to purchase 15 live transfer calls daily/ monthly. These calls cost $62.00 per transfer call @ 15 per  day X 20 equals 300 calls per month costing $18,600.00 in marketing lead costs. These leads close with 1  home and a minimum of 2 cars per close lead. The premiums for each bundle averages $2,120.00. The  close ratio on transfer leads is 80%.
