Johnny Foreigner Guitars manufactures electric guitars (right here in Southern California) and sells them direct to consumer, with tons of customization options, allowing guitarists to co-create their dream instrument.

The way guitars are made and sold hasn't changed much in the last 70 years. We apply the principles behind DTC ecommerce disrupters like Warby Parker and Allbirds to the electric guitar market, allowing us to offer better pricing, customization options and a direct customer relationship that traditional guitar companies can't match.

We offer the quality and craftsmanship of much higher priced instruments, but our DTC model allows us to reach a younger, less affluent, more social media-savvy audience. The broad range of customization we offer is the icing on the cake for a generation of customers used to leveraging the internet for more choice. We offer customers the opportunity to choose options in categories like wood species, hardware types, finish colors, pickup style and even the option to add their own custom logo to the guitar headstock. The possible combinations are in the 1000s making every customer guitar potentially unique. We manufacture every guitar to order for lower overheads and a truly direct relationship with each customer.

We launched in 2022 and started shipping product in fall 2022. We're looking for investment to expand marketing efforts and scale up operations. We have matured our production processes and are ready to ramp up sales volume. Our product roadmap includes entry level and premium models to expand our audience reach.

CEO Tom Dowler is head of product and has been building guitars for 10+ years. CMO Gian Singh is a veteran of DTC ecommerce brands, with 6+ years experience in apparel and supplements.
