Rebuilding Fort Myers Beach Business

Carlito's LLC  is raising funds to lease and or purchase commercial properties to rebuild Fort Myers Beach hospitality business.  The South end of FMB is in desperate need of hotels, multi unit rentals & restaurants.  Since hurricane Ian devastated the island.  Rebuilding businesses such as the iconic Santini Plaza, Dolphin Inn and family owned rentals has not even started or has halted due to lack of funding.  After Hurricane Ian hit in September of 2022 Fort Myers beach business owners have been struggling to rebuild for various financial reasons. The plaza, which borders Fish-Tale Marina, has been home to a handful of popular small restaurants and hotels.
The owners of Carlito's LLC, Carl John Johannes and Jennifer Johannes both bring over 25 years of  restaurant ownership & hospitality management experience. Both have worked in a variety of markets such as bars and taverns, local family restaurants, banquet facilities and five star hospitality resorts.  Most recently Jennifer was a manager for Pinchers Tiki located at what once the the Wyndham. Carlito's LLC  business plan and strategy is to create a profitable business that will support tourism and in the future open a restaurant with a sports bar atmosphere with a small but pleasing menu featuring 3 different style crust options for pizza and other items will include beach friendly hand held items that can be eaten on the go. The bar will include indoor & outdoor seating, music. This can be included in a resort style hotel such as the Dolphin in once rebuilt. The location is to be determined. The market is currently opening p many other opportunities for locations on the beach.
